Austin Collins

Inshore/Offshore Guide

Austin started bass fishing at a very young age growing up in Cleveland, Ohio. Bass fishing evolved into Walleye, Musky and Northern Pike fishing. He moved to Orlando Florida at the age of 15 and for the first time emerged into saltwater fishing primarily fishing West coast piers for Snook and Tarpon. He then moved to Boca Raton where he graduated Florida Atlantic University and continued fishing for Snook and inshore species around the surrounding area. However on BLACK FRIDAY 2012 everything changed, Austin purchased his first Kayak. It was a lifetime 10 foot sit inside kayak with 2 rod holders. He first started to cruise the inter-coastal and back canals looking for some inshore species to target. It wasn't but a couple weeks of owning a kayak before he would take his first trip offshore. Austin's first trip was an experience! He claims he was clueless of the opportunity that south Florida brings for offshore kayak fishing. His first trip out consisted of a few frozen ballyhoo and a couple Kingfish jigs and just paddling out east from the beach… The first trip off Spanish River beach resulting in nothing. However the next trip Austin fought a Barracuda over 40” on a live Blue Runner and was hooked! But the obsession didn't kick in till December 27th 2012. He was all alone at 7:00 am parked at Delray Beach with 2 fishing rods. One rod was used to catch bait trolling small spoon while the other to put live bait on and paddle out. At 7:45 am the live Blue Runner got smacked! After a fifteen minute battle and sticking it with a small hand gaff, he pulled in his first monster 45lb Kingfish! The following year Austin fished offshore from his kayak on over 80 trips catching 40+ Kingfish, multiple Sailfish and Wahoo. Austin went from a beginner to one of the best known kayak fishermen in the region. Tournament wins include 2nd place 2014 Kayak Wars, 2nd place 2014 Florida Sportsman Challenge and stage finish at the Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament. Austin also competed in the first ever international offshore 2014 Extreme Kayak Tournament in the Bahamas. You can contact Austin directly at 330.998.4841 for information or to schedule a trip.

Bobby Buzaki

Inshore/Offshore Guide

Bobby started fishing off a dock in a local marina in Fort Lauderdale as a kid. Catching jacks, snook, and snapper off docks, this is where he realized in order to increase the odds of catching big fish he needed to use live bait. After he graduated middle school he bought his first kayak. After a few inshore trips, Bobby went offshore for the first time with only catching a small shark. His second trip out was a different story; having a smoker king skyrocket on his bait and biting through the wire got him hooked. Since then, Bobby has gone out hundreds of times and has put many pelagics on his lap. Bobby is no stranger when it comes to placing in tournaments including 4th overall and 1st in the Juniors Division in the 2012 Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament, 5th in the 2014 Florida Sportsman Challenge, 5th place in the South Florida Kayak Club Kayak Wars Tournament, and 6th overall in the Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament Summer Series part 1. Bobby is also a student at the University of Central Florida and is an active member in the UCF Reel Knights fishing club. When he is not down south on break from school, he is an avid inshore fisherman during the school year fishing the Indian River Lagoon, Mosquito Lagoon and Banana River for snook, redfish, trout and black drum.
