Kayak Dive Trips

Fort Lauderdale is known as the fishing, diving and yachting capital of the world for good reason, beautiful blue water filled with marine life! The neat thing about diving this area is the abundant shallow water coral and artificial reefs close to the beach. Most of the diving we do from the kayaks is between 15-40' deep which is a very short 10-20 minute paddle from shore. You'll get to experience this thrill without all the cumbersome equipment like a BCD. We use 60' Brownie hookah setups on the kayaks. The tank is situated in the back of the kayak behind your seat with the hose sitting on top ready to go. You simply just wear you mask, fins, weight belt, grab the hose and hop off. Depending on breathing rate, we typically get 45-70 minutes per tank on these shallow dives. Unlike deep dives you are always 1 breath away from the surface at all times.

Scenic Dive

Scenic Dive at Dania Beach

On this dive we will paddle to where visibility is the best that day and get setup to jump in. Before entering we will figure out the current and position the kayaks up current of where we plan to exit the dive. Once we are in position we will all hop in and begin our dive. These are drift dives where very little swimming is required. There is always abundant fish and other marine life to see and photograph if you have an underwater camera. These dives typically last 45-75 minutes plus the time it takes to paddle. It is a very relaxing and enjoyable dive. Must be a certified diver. All of our trips require you to sign the liability waiver found on the "Waiver" tab and brought with you or to be filled out in person the day of the trip.

Spearfish Dive

Spear Fishing Trip

This dive is a ton of fun! On the spearfish dive we will go on the hunt for a variety of fish found around the reefs. We will paddle to the spearfishing grounds for the day, setup and jump in. I will guide you to various spots and help you master a few spearfishing techniques to increase your chances at a clean shot on the fish. It is always a rush to see what is around the corner or in the next hole. Snapper, Grouper, Lion-fish and Hog-fish are common shots in the areas we will work. We will go over the plan before leaving and I will also give a tutorial on how the spear gun and other equipment works. You are welcome to bring your own gun if you have one. These dives typically last 45-60 minutes plus paddle time. You must be a certified diver. Must have a current Florida State saltwater fishing license. Lobster Dive

Spear Fishing Trip

Mini Season July 29-30, 2015 (12 per harvester per day.)
Regular Season August 6, 2015 - March 31, 2016 (6 per harvester per day.)

This particular dive is where the hookah setup really shines. Unlike cumbersome BCD's, hookah setups allow you to stay streamline and work deep in the many holes that lobster thrive in. On this dive we will paddle out to specific areas that lobster love to hide in. If your experienced in lobstering then you know already what an art it is to find and catch lobster. If your novice then this is where it really pays to go with someone who has experience and can show you some techniques to get your first lobster in the bag! Catching lobster is pretty addicting so be prepared! Must be a certified diver. Must have a current Florida State saltwater fishing license with lobster permit. All of our trips require you to sign the liability waiver found on the "Waiver" tab and brought with you or to be filled out in person the day of the trip.
